Marantz's New Cinema Series AVRs and Flagship AV10 and AMP10 Separates, and News About Its New Dirac Partnership at CEDIA 2022!

(October 15, 2022) Marantz used CEDIA 2022 to further its brand re-definition, further separating itself from Denon's impressive offerings. The company arrived at the annual trade show with its all-new Cinema Series of AV Receivers, including the top-shelf Cinema 40, and a new pair of separates: the AV10 and AMP10. It also announced an exciting new partnership with Dirac. We spent time with Marantz on the show floor and received a complete rundown of its latest news. Watch the full video, below!

The flagship separates are in the 7k range (each), I believe. Pretty sure I have pricing on the other units. I’ll check when I get back home!

Thanks Todd! I got the answer when I watched the video (as I should have done in the first place!) all the way through!

Music to me ears @ 4:36 Audyssey can calibrate the 4 independent sub-woofer channels separately. If pre-outs are as good as they have been in the past I see a Cinema 50 in my future.

Agree 1000%. That’s a huge upgrade in functionality. I hope you end up getting one. Beyond “looking” like a serious piece of equipment, Marantz is really going to the extra mile to pack these new models to the gills!

What an exciting time to be in the hobby!

We just received Marantz's very first allocation/shipment of the new CINEMA 50 9.4 channel receiver and CINEMA 70 7.2 channel slim receiver.

We are LOVING these new receivers and I'm setting up the CINEMA 50 in our store theater demo room with our 5.4.4 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X audio system and Sony's VPL-XW7000ES Native 4K HDR Laser projector.

Maybe we should start a thread in the Audio Receiver section for the new receivers.

Just received our first allocation of Marantz's new AV10 15.4 Channel A/V Processor.

We're upgrading our store demo theater's processor this week. Marantz's AV10 has very impressive build and design quality!

Look forward to some impressions, Robert!

We'll be firing up Marantz's new AV10 15.4 channel processor this Friday with some very nice upgrades on our speakers too. Still undecided on what amp(s) to use.

Just completed our premium Cinema Demo Room in our new basement studio. Here's the equipment we'll installed and set-up so far:
  1. Sony VPL-XW7000ES
  2. Panasonic UB9000P1k
  3. Marantz AV10 15.4 channel processor
  4. NAD 8 channel power amplifier
  5. Perlisted 5.2 speaker system with a pair of R7t Towers, R5C Center, R4 Bookshelf & a pair of D212s Subwoofers
  6. Universal Remote MX990
  7. Seymour 120" fixed screen with their reference Radiant White Unity Gain material
  8. All high end Audioquest and AVPro Optical Bullet Train cables and interconnects.
Working on the seating, decorations, selecting the placement and speaker series to increase the audio to 15.4 channels, and finalizing the acoustic audio sound treatments.

We're finalizing our plans for our third premium Cinema Demo Room to add to the veyr large new basement space we just added to our existing main a/v showroom/retail store.

Here's a very early sneak preview of our new basement where we'll be building several new theater demo rooms.

Hello All- Has anyone picked up an AV10 yet? Would love to hear some feedback!!!

We have Marantz's AV10 connected to the AMP10 and all Perlisten speakers in one of our new theater demo rooms. This room has the very best audio I have ever heard! But please know that so much of the performance is related to the speakers, your room size and acoustics.

Wish you lived closer as I'd love to demo Marantz's new flagship AV10 15.4 channel processor in our new theater demo room.

I heard both in action at Masimo’s headquarters a few weeks ago. They performed incredibly well. Beautiful gear!

AV10 in the house :yay:
