Hi,
I want to merge far field and near field SPL measurements, I guess pretty standard.
However, when I look at the step response of the FF and NF measurements they look fine, while the merged response is smeared.
I have tried to time align the FF and FF SPL phase to exactly the same value at the merge frequency, but it does not help, still smeared.
Is it possible to merge FF and NF measurements and maintain a consistent step response?
If it is, how should it be done?
I attach views of the step response for FF and NF merged at 700Hz, phase +18 degrees.
I am thankful for any insight on this.
