Good day everyone, quick question... If I'm only using the minidsp to calibrate my dual subs, do I need to get the minidsp 2x4hd or would the regular one work? It might seem like a silly question when it's only 100 dollars more is US currency but I live in Barbados and everthing here is around 3-4 times the US price by the time it gets here.

I use the miniDSP 2x4 Balanced. I wanted to keep balanced signal as far as I could. Actual outputs to the subs are unbalanced. It works really well! I think the HD allows for more time adjustment, but if your subs are close to the same distance from the listening position this is not an issue.

Appreciate your reply, thank you very much.

If you are ever going to consider using BEQ it is recommended to use the HD model
