Monolith HTP-1 16-Channel Processor

For those of you HTP-1 owners who also use BEQ, pink soda has just updated his custom interface to easily import BEQ filters into the HTP-1.

You can search titles right from his interface, and it includes the movies bass graph to the side. Once loaded, you can see the BEQ filters highlighted in yellow on the PEQ page. Once you're done with the movie, it's a single click to clear them out. He's done a really nice job incorporating it.

More details are available on the HTP-1 thread on AVS.

And if you like what he's done, please consider donating a few bucks. He has Paypal information right on the "About" section of his custom interface page.

Pink Soda's UI and additional functionality (like recordable macros that can be assigned to remote buttons too) is just awesome. I haven't used the monoprice version in so long I hardly recall what it looks like.

Hobie (the man behind the Monolith brand) was interviewed for The HiFi Summit 2021 Q2, and here he talks about the HTP-1 delays:

It's all related to the AKM 4493 chip supply.

Yep... the chip delays are hurting a LOT of manufacturers in various industries.

In the past few weeks there have been a good many owner's who've experienced a start-up "boot loop".
Monoprice has just released firmware 1.9.1 to prevent it.
If you fall victim to it just reach out to Monoprice support or you can follow the instructions found HERE.

Kudos to Monoprice for stepping up quickly to resolve the problem for their customers and for being transparent about the fix.
Here's Hobie's post on the subject.

I have installed 1.9.1 and can confirm that seems to be free of issues. I never experienced the "boot loop issue", so cannot confirm that the update resolves this issue.
