I have an idea for 2 dustcovers..one for the CD transport and one for the turntable.
My idea is to make it 3 sides wood, glass front and a glass lid.
Any thoughts?

Update.. Carpenter is starting on the new design for the horn mounts. I will be able to assemble this easily. What we are doing is building a flexi rack design amp stand / horn stand. The flexi rack will have (2) 5/8" rods that extend though the bottom shelf, through the top shelf, and up a few feet. This will be the front of the flexi rack, and the rods will run through 2" wood blocks with a hole through the middle for the rods. A wood frame will be attached to the wood blocks, and attached to the horn via bolts around the horn.now in the rear 2 more 5/8" bolts will extend upward but only to the compression driver which will be clamped inside of a wood block. The bottom of the stand will hold my sub, mids, and hf amps (with VU meters for each amp. The amp cases are made of Mesquite and will have carbon fiber inlays for the vu meters and all inputs and outputs.mesquite will be color matched to the rack. If this works out like I hope...the rear MEHs will also have matching racks.

I decided on the flexi idea since the rack turned out nicely, will break down for transporting, less expensive, and not as heavy for transporting.
