Hi,
Someone advised me to use RTA to control the distortion of a sound card!
I hope I have used the right parameters.
Here are the results of the calibration of an old 2007 (iSEMcon) IBF MP-B USB.
I'm working with the latest versions of REW and Windows 10 64 bits.
Is this machine still good for the service?
Thank you to look at the pictures and give me your opinion.
JohnM told me that "Best performance will typically be found when the input headroom is about 1 dB. REW will warn that is high, but the warning is aimed at room measurements which need extra headroom to accommodate resonances."
This was an opportunity to try the stepped sine RTA measurement.
Here are the images of the tests performed with a level of -1 dB FS. The sound card has stood and is still alive!
These close the vintage sequence.
