Oppenheimer scored big!

It sure did. Now I need to watch Poor Things. Looks strange but has nice visuals.

Same here... wife wouldn't let me watch it while she's here, so I've got to make time during the day when she is gone to watch it. I've had too much other stuff going on to take time to watch it. I hope to get to it this week though.

Just goes to show that if you can manufacture a bunch of pre-release buzz and controversy, even a mediocre film can win big at the Oscars. ;)

Poor Things was a ride. I'm not sure I liked it.

The Holdovers was great. Past Lives was my Best Picture.

Just finished Oppenheimer... not really my style of movie, but it was still pretty good.

I didn't see all the movies on the best picture list but I'm thinking Oppenheimer probably is the best of the lot

I’m excited for Godzilla winning Best Visual Effects. Now if we could get a 4K release.

Oppenheimer didn't float my boat either, but I definitely appreciate all that it is. Deserving of awards, for sure.

I liked the Holdovers. Haven't seen Past Lives or Poor Things. Looks like I need to put them on the list!

Poor Things would be my vote for Best Picture. Intriguing and entertaining all the way through. Beautiful production and superb acting.
Oppenheimer is great for a docu-drama, but ultimately that's all it is.
