Wow, that’s quite the project and I’m interested to follow your progress. It was a sobering experience just how expensive it was for some stain, furniture/fire pit, and a new grill on our much smaller upgrade. After the landscaping phase I’m hoping to stay < $10K. Followed....

This is quickly reaching the $30,000 price tag....... I haven't even touched on the landscaping that needs to be done after i tore up the yard.

That’s too rich for my blood brother. I’m sure it will look amazing when completed but that kind of money won’t be approved by my finance committee! I’ll get the retirement fund speech from my wife when talking that kind of fundage! :spend:

Wow, it’s expesice, but it will be worth it. Plus, you’re house’s value will go up. I started upgrading the backyard, but I’m now sort of stopped because I’m thinking of moving out of CA. We will see what happens after I graduate in May 2019!

That's smart for not attaching it to the house. If you attach it to the house, then you will need building permits and getting it inspected. I am going to upgrade my patio area, and it is attached to the house, but when i get to update it wont be due to the requirements of building permits.

My wife wants to do a backyard area complete with a TV or even a screen and projector LOL. SHe even wnats to look at getting one of these shipping container pools http://modpools.com/gallery/ made right here in Edmonton. They cost about $20,000 Heater pumps and filters included

Set up the grill cabinets, they come measure for the counter top tommorow. My second grill should arrive along with my fire table on June 22nd. Hopefully I have my slab by then and just need to hookup the gas.

Ive heard that the Sunbright TVs are good for outdoor space but picture quality suffers a bit due to the extra brightness they have to produce. Look forward to your impressions

Closed up one side of the cover today. All electrical was run in the cover. Final connections at the fuse box will happen tomorrow. Tomorrow I will work on closing the ceiling.
