REW EXCL help

I have tried everything to get EXCL to work with REW on my windows 11 Lenovo lap top
Im able to get sweeps etc as long as don't try Java with EXCL I am using a Anthem 70
i have tried all the setting for my sound card but still after hours and hours i can not get to sweep to other channels
even though windows is set to 7.1
If i do a test through windows i do get a test tone to other speakers but not through using REW

Is this a common problem with some lap tops? others have said their window 11 laptops work just fine using Java EXCL
What can i be doing wrong ?? i don't have another lap top to try

Please attach the file which is produced when you use the option to "Generate debug file" on the REW soundcard preferences, with everything connected as you would set it up for measuring.

Here is the file you asked for
I am not tech savvy at all but have been running REW for a while now with no issues
still earning though
I just cant get to access the 7 channels to do any sweeps
I don't know much about ASIO4all
i down loaded the file but cant program the REW sound card property to get it to work
I hope mine is no one of them as its less than 1 year old

I am not tech Savvy at all
I don't know how to set up ASIO4ALL or the new FlexASIO
It would be great if i could get someone to Team View in to help and guide me through setting it up
And I'm not looking for a FREE BE i realize time is money and education is not cheap

The debug file looks fine, there should not be any issue using EXCL: AVM 70 as the output device.

Set the Anthem's listening mode to None.

Attach a screenshot of your REW soundcard preferences (open the REW soundcard preferences and press Alt+PrtSc to copy the preferences screen to the clipboard, then use Ctrl+V to paste it into your post).

Very odd. Worth trying FlexASIO. The installer is here. Instructions to set it up are on page 40 of Jerry's guide.

Good news everything works great with using FLEXASIO
I don't know why Java with EXCL wont work on my laptop and i could not use ASIO4ALL either
If you find a cure please let me know as there must be others with the same issue
I cant be the only one.

Create an empty file (e.g. with Notepad) named FlexASIO.log directly under your user directory (e.g. C:\Users\Your Name Here\FlexASIO.log).

which means open Notepad, don't enter any text, and then save that notepad file as C:\Users\Your Name Here\FlexASIO.log. Then start REW up again, make a measurement and close it. That FlexASIO.log file will now have a lot of debug info it, so please attach that.

ok john i reset the driver to WASAPI and checked the exclusive box
Now the sweep noise sounds very strange a low kind of raspy noise nothing like before
is this normal ?

No, but it might be related to the FlexASIO buffer setting. You can set that to 4096 to see if it fixes it.
