RT60 with balloon/clap trigger ?

I know this from CLIO pocket where the program is "listening" for a bang/clap and then starts recording the decay. Would it be possible with REW? Or could it be an added feature?

Probably easier to just capture the signal with any recording software then import the resulting WAV file as an impulse response.

I read this as it's not possible (yet). Going to check the recording option and how to do this in a reliable way.
