Trying to get REW initialized for the first time.
When I set up the sound on windows playback devices, it shows 7.1., and it shows my Denon 1911. I am able to send a test tone to each speaker and sub. But when I use the signal Generator in REW, the sound only comes from the laptop speakers. REW is showing 6 channels but only 1 and 2 are active and those are the laptop speakers, left and right.
This happens on both of my laptops, one is running win7 and the other is win 8.1. I must be overlooking a "check box" or something.
One other question. My best running laptop with win7 is a 64 bit system. I am using REW32 with jre, should I be using REW64 and downloading Java 8 manually? I'm unclear, it seems as if the REW64 bit is only for Windows 10?
Thanks
