Setting up a Two-Channel system in my test room...

Lots of headphone amps are being tested. I just ordered a section of slat wall to go where that picture is on the wall. That way, I can hang my headphones and various testing cables on the wall and get them out of the way. This is all more for fun than it is for anything serious. I don't want to get started down that serious line of traffic, as it can get rather overwhelming and no longer be fun. I'm retired and want to stay that way.

I have two of the 4" thick absorption panels behind that rug on the wall to help with those back wall reflections since I am only a few feet from that wall when listening.

I finally got a slatwall to hang all my cables. It was a mess. Every time I needed a cable, I had to dig through all the cables on my table—an entangled web of a mess. Now everything is nice and neat and easier to find when I need it.

And I would never, ever, in a million years, tell anyone that I initially installed the slatwall upside down. I'll have to keep it a secret. A total lack of paying attention in my excitement to get it up.

Yeah... that was a total "old man" doofus move there. I got it all up and put everything back on the desk, connected stuff back up, reached for a hanger, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get it to fit. Then I thought maybe I could just hang everything upside down, including myself, for being so stupid.
