Should I expand to my HT to 6 height channels or stick with 4?

Hello, no. What you would end up doing and already may be experiencing is overloading the room and reducing your channel separation by having too many speakers. 4 height channels is more than sufficient in a home theater setup unless you have more than tree rows of seating.

I agree... I think it comes down to the size of your room, how many rows of seating you have, and who uses the room. In my case, 4 height is sufficient, as my room is only 23.5' deep and I only have two rows of seating... and I am the only one in there 99% of the time.

I would weigh out those considerations and then see if what you desire to do makes sense and can be justified.

I would most definitely invest in a second sub before going down the road of adding more speakers to your height channels.
