Show us your mains!

It can indeed make a difference... unless it's down-firing. When you face it out from the wall the driver can move the length of the box. I was able to get a different response with all four facing positions with my SB16-Ultra even in the same footprint because each direction changed the distance from one wall or another. It's not always drastic, but it's definitely different.

Oh I totally get that Sonnie. Depending on the size of the subwoofer enclosure, rotating your SB16 180 degrees would move the sub's acoustic center by 18-20". That would certainly be a sufficient change to impact the subwoofer's interaction with room modes.

My point was that with horizontally oriented sub-bass drivers (and if we set aside slot-loading effects of facing the driver closely into a wall or the floor)- if you rotate the subwoofer cabinet around the acoustic center of the driver, rather than around the cabinet center- it really matters very little which direction it is facing. In any event, the dual opposed drivers of my Submersives mean that the acoustic center actually coincides with the cabinet center.

Thanks. Working on seating now, any ideas where to look? Happy New Year!

Front without the screen in place. And then towards the back with new Valencia Verona seating.

Thanks for looking!

Happy New Year!

My LCR's are baffle wall mounted. LCR's are 3-way active DIY system. Each contains Two Acoustic Elegance TD12M's, One Bema TPL-150H and one Acoustic Elegance TD18H+. Use a couple DBX PA2's for crossover and PEQ. Can't see the TD18H+ drivers very well they are at the bottom of the first picture. Second picture is my old screen, but it shows the TD18H+ drivers better. Third picture is with my current masking screen and grills in place for TD18H+ drivers.

Sweet! Those big beautiful Tannoys are an endgame speaker choice so I totally get your accompanying comment @Erik Arisholm.

Thanks :-) Yes I've owned a lot of different speakers, but these ones are just very spectacular and puts a smile on my face every day :-)
Where are you located... would love to hear them one day.

Danley SH-50 Trio, TH-50 tapped horn sub Right White, OThorn Black Left, full 7.2.4 Atmos from Yamaha CX-A5002 and Hypex NC-400 amps R+L, misc. class D for all channels.

One of the few speakers I've not heard yet, a top priority for me when it becomes possible again. I read about your trip to Harman, good stuff.
Well, you need to hear it! Too bad I didn't know as my buddy lived in Lincoln with them and has recently moved. He's the one that went to Harman with me too. Always welcome to the sunshine state to hear them. :T

You might enjoy my podcast with Geddes too.

Mad about those Vegas looking forward to hear what they are good for with the Audiolense XO and a proper room correction

Whoa, Goskers lived in Lincoln? Been following his posts for quite a while, too. Had no idea.

I really like coaxial annular drivers, I have BMS loaded into a JTR horn. I did get a chance to hear the GedLee Abbeys, good time.

Funny seeing Revel then JBL in consecutive posts, fitting, too.

He sure did. M2 for L/C/R and then all 305 for the others on a full ATMOS system. All driven by the JBL SDP75 in a custom built room. His new room in IN is almost done.
