This is my first attempt at really using this great product. I have a very small audio room that has a desk with monitors at the back. It has GiK Tri-Traps full height front and top half in back, 244 bass traps at first reflection. I've learned that very little seems to affect the frequency response. I've removed all the treatments, as well as moved the mike (and the chair) forward, back, left and right. The response seem to be somewhat close to what the room simulation says it would be. So maybe that means I'm doing the measurements correctly. I have a UMM-6 USB mike, sound is going from a laptop through a DAC into the audio system (as listed in profile).
I don't really have any complaint on the sound, but it's always worth seeing if it can be bettered. I'm hoping someone can confirm my measurements make sense given the room, and I'd like to hear any advise anyone cares to offer. Remember it's a very small room (13'10" x 9' 7'2" ceiling) with treatments, Ikea record cubes, audio equipment, etc.
Thanks,
Ed
