Sony's highly anticipated 2022 A95K Master Series QD OLED TV

Lately I've been getting a lot of calls and emails telling me they heard Sony may, or as some have told me, Sony will likely have another delayed launch date for the A95K Master Series QD OLED TVs.

So just to set the record straight the official launch date for the 55" and 65" A95K is Monday, July 25th.

On June 2nd Sony informed the Diamond Dealers with confirmation of the launch date and we confirmed our A95K allocation is included in Sony's very first allocation/shipment. I immediately finalized our 2022 TV Shootout dates to be July 30-31 and distributed our press release to the media.

Sony is giving Value Electronics the very first allocation/shipment of A95K Master Series QD OLED TVs that are scheduled to arrive in our store on July 25th.

Got a late afternoon Sony update that their first shipment of XR-65A95K Master Series QD OLED TVs is arriving at several of their fulfillment distribution locations tomorrow and all of our shipments are included in this very first allotment.

Other than our Nationwide orders we'll have our 2nd shipment in our store this Thursday and it's a much larger allocation. This new shipment to our store will give us enough inventory to start the Q/C process on all of our orders that are not already in break in to include our in-house D-Nice calibration service with excess inventory to spare.

Today was an enormous shipping day for us! We shipped almost all of our 65" A95K and 85" Z9K TVs and tomorrow any order that did not ship today will go out tomorrow.

Robert - is Sony planning on rolling out larger panels of this model? And maybe a bit off topic for this thread but have you heard anything regarding 100” OLEDs coming out in the near future?

I'd say it's 99% likely we'll see Sony and Samsung with 77" QD OLED TVs by later summer 2023. Samsung Display, who is the exclusive manufacturer of QD OLED modules has announced they will have a 77" QD OLED panel for the 2023 model year.

For larger OLED TVs we have LG's 97" G2 Gallery Series OLED that will be on display in our showroom later this month.
