Hi,

Trying to make a calibration file using "calibrating sound card" for the setup Laptop/REW > USB DAC > Amplifier > Speaker > UMIK-1 >Laptop/REW. Levels are checked and okay.

After sweep REW gets stuck in calculating impulse response at 98%. What can be wrong?

An error may have been logged, please zip the log files folder and attach it. On Windows that is at C:\users\<your username>\REW.

Soundcard calibration is not applicable with a USB mic, it is only for measuring the output and input of a soundcard when both output and input will be used for measurement. I would still like to see the log files, please.

Hi,
Strange. I use USB connected DAC and UMIK via a USB hub and as default input and output devices in windows. This setup works in 5.20 beta 2.

I'm guessing it was RC3. In any case, I have found that bug and fixed it for the next build.

Yes, It is RC3. How do I see the build number? It's not included in the "about REW" window.

Superfast update :) RC4 works just great!

I had the same experience (early 2011 15" MacBook Pro, macOS 13.6, REW 5.20 RC3, PreSonus Studio68c interface). I'll give RC4 a shot.

[edit: RC, not beta]
