Speaker Stands for Adam A7X Monitors

I decided to go sit in the main listening position and actually measure the height... and I'm now coming up with 30-32" as being the right height. I'm not sure how I came up with 42". Initially I measured from another chair to my speakers, and my ear was a lot higher than in my MLP in my listening room. So... that opens the doors up to several I had passed over. The Pangea come to mind as reasonable and robust... carpet piercing spikes and can be filled with sand.

Get the HF drivers near ear-level height. These types of HF drivers have limited vertical dispersion (listening to RAAL ribbons as I type this). You want to balance the tweeter and woofer vertical dispersion.

I am concerned about boundary reinforcement/baffle step. I've experienced Adam nearfield and far. The room is going to dominate the result. Too far away from the front wall boundary might impact the sound in a way the manufacturer never intended.

Being a pro audio monitor, I would not think boundary would be an issue since a lot of studios have their console's out in the middle of a heavily treated room.
