SPL +/- 3db Regions

I would find it helpful if a feature was added so that when I clicked on the SPL graph and got the cursor lines, there was also a lightly shaded region above and below the horizontal cursor line showing where +3db and -3db were. The legend on the side is not in multiples of 3, and the data is all over the place, so this feature would improve the experience. Mock-up below.

This is a very good idea. I am all for visual cues between the computer and human interface.

Make it default to 3dB, but let the user edit the value.
