Game 5 is tonight. Will be interesting to see who wins to take the lead in the series..

Nationals scratch Max Scherzer from Game 5 start vs. Astros.

Washington will instead start reliever Joe Ross opposite Astros co-ace Gerrit Cole.

Wow, Astros won the 5th game.. Final score 7 to 1.

Amazing thing is that the road team won all the games.

Washington in Houston for the first 2
Houston in Washington for the next 3.

Should be interesting for the next game..

Astros lead the series now 3 to 2.

Priorities... two beers or home room ball coming at you!

He got the ball in the end since it landed next to his feet. :)

Game 6 is tonight in Houston.. So far road team has won all the games. Let's see how it goes tonight. :)

Bud Light is taking full advantage of this "free advertisement". They created a t-shirt in honor of that guy holding the two beers instead of catching the ball and sending him to tonight's game.

The guy that caught that ball on his chest is the husband of someone that works with my wife! Hilarious.

We managed to go see Game 5 in person. Quite the spectacle on many different levels. Since the President was in attendance, the Secret Service was there in force. We parked in the Geico Parking garage (which can be seen in left field of the stadium) and got out of our car to see DC police manning a sniper rifle... then began noticing similar positions within eye sight. Bomb sniffing dogs were in the stadium and stands during the game... armed agents walking throughout the stadium...and getting through security (which was manned by Secret Service) was a lengthy process. Was probably the safest place in DC that night!

Fun to see such high-level baseball in person. Cole was pitching out of his mind!

Wow, that must have been exciting. So funny that your wife knows that guy. Apparently, he got two balls. The one that hit him in the chest and then landed on his feet and another one.. So, lucky.

I think he is going to get free beer as well from Bud Light..

The road team continues to win in this series..

The Nationals beat the Astros in game 6 with final score 7 to 2..

Game 7 is Wed in Houston.

Winner take all game..

from chron,

"Beer-clutching Nationals fan makes trip to Houston for World Series game, gets treated like royalty"

"“People in Houston have been absolutely fantastic,” Adams said. “I think we treated Astros fans pretty well in D.C., and it’s been the same here. Everyone is so nice. Houston has to be one of the friendliest places I’ve ever been.” "

The guy also got a commercial.

Game 7 tonight.. All or nothing!

A great game so far.

The most interesting thing about this series is that the road team (visitor) won the various games. No home field advantage for the home team.. Never ever happened in NBA, NHL, MLB 7 game series..

So far anyways, road team have won the first 6 games.

Today's game will be interesting to see if that still holds true or not..

Congrats to the Washington Nationals. They won the world series.

Final score 6 to 2.

The road (visiting) team won every game of the best of 7 game series.

What a series!

I don't think we will ever see this again especially the road team winning all the games. So much for home field advantage. lol.

Astros starters Gerrit Cole and Justin Verlander, along with Charlie Morton of the Rays are named finalists for the AL Cy Young Award

from yahoo, National League Cy Young award ....

"Jacob deGrom has gone back-to-back. The New York Mets ace was named the National League’s Cy Young award winner again on Wednesday after a vote by the Baseball Writers Association of America. In achieving that landmark victory, deGrom becomes just the 11th different pitcher since the Cy Young award was introduced in 1956 to win it in consecutive seasons. Roger Clemens won it in consecutive years twice during his career."
