The Plumber Stole My Listening Room!

I am sad that I will be losing my show and travel buddy, Dennis. And looking forward to being closer to my other good pals Leonard and Sonnie.

I looked at Google SketchUp, could figure it out I'm sure, but was hoping for something simpler and more intuitive and quicker. Don't mind learning a new tool, but the steep learning curve stuff I willsave for audio tools not architectural things.

The laser distance measurer was the first thing that I put in my suitcase.

Never leave home without it. More important than underwear and socks. First things first.

On one of the places we will be looking at in the Asheville area is on Cedar Creek Road. Sound familiar Sonnie?

Our builder uses Chief Architect Home Design to do 3D renderings. It's pricey and I have no idea how intuitive it is. You'll likely have to spend something to get a decent program. Of course there's always engineering graph paper and a ruler.

Pencil and paper

Slide rule?

Old school!

Just kidding, of course. I am so mistake/re-do prone that as soon as I draw the first line I will be erasing it to try to make it straighter or darker or better somehow. Not the LEAST bit OCD about such things.

Now in North Carolina getting ready to do some house hunting. We actually spent an hour looking for an address that Zillow had listed with an address in one town and showed on the map in another. When we started to get "close," (or so we thought) we went into a data roaming area and lost all google map guidance.. WOW - CONFUSING!!
