The popup dialogue box can not be clicked

When doing check level in the preference,a dialog box popped up and could not be closed from then on. I tried Alt + F4, didn't work. it seems the program is still live, when click outside of the dialogue box, the dialogue box will blinking and a window warning sound will come out.

The message may be regenerated after acknowledging it. You may need to use the task manager to close REW if that is the case.
