Hi all, I’m hoping for a bit of help. I’ve read for hours on this forum and AVS about REW and minidsp but obviously I’m missing something trying to setup my two subs.
The issue I’m having is that not only am I losing ~30db I’m creating a big drop at around 50hz.
I tried to gain match them, time align and EQ but something along the way I must be doing wrong. I think it’s most likely the time align part. As I’m really not sure where I’m supposed to be placing the cursor for the alignment.
This was my process.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Cheers

This was my process.
- Output the AVR test frequency at 75db.
- Alternatively placing both subs in the identical position and setting the gain for the sub to output 75db.
- Ran a sweep from 10-100hz for each sub independently in REW.
- Ran the alignment tool using both of these sweeps.
- Ran the auto EQ against the time align.
- Exported the EQ settings from REW.
- Imported the EQ settings into minidsp and copied to the second channel.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Cheers
