Hello all,
I have a Trinnov Amethyst which is doing correction for my main stereo set up which is 2.2 stereo ie mains (Yamaha Ns2000) and subs (two Wilson Benesch Torus).
I also have two REL studio ii subs which are connected to an LFE output from my Kuro media box via a miniDSP 2x4HD.
I want to ty to get to a 2.4 system ie stereo with 4 subs using REW to optimise the subs
I could connect the two miniDSP inputs to the two sub outputs from the Trinnov and then use the miniDSP to align the subs before presenting them to the Trinnov for room correction. The question is whether anyone else is using a Trinnov with a miniDSP in this way please?

Thoughts are to
- Match the left / right front and rears as pairs but this means two different types of sub
- Match front and rears as pairs and then use the Trinnov to match the two channels L/R but this means that either the left or right channel is coming from the back of the room rather than the front.
- Match all 4 subs in the miniDSP and let the Trinnov optimize the system as a 2.1 set up but this leaves an unused channel.
