Camping season is now closed having winterized the trailer Oct 1. I've been busy trying to get back into some sort of routine now for the last couple of weeks but I keep getting life interruptions.

Hello friends How's your weekend rolling out? I had a very productive day yesterday which includes my favourite part, swapping out the AVR in the bedroom system. I went from a Yamaha RX-V1075 to a Yamaha RX-A1060 with network connectivity, better bass management and room correction facilities. It took me 45 minutes to do the swap but almost 3 hours to program/configure it the way I want it.

I went for my walk this morning and got the main bathroom and bedrooms ready for my brothers and sister that are coming up starting Wednesday. I was listening to to this during the housework.

House work completed for today. I listened to this

Spotted a recommendation on another forum for this and listened on a walk a short while ago.

Glad I did. I enjoyed the warmish tonality of the mix, the vocals and percussion.

Nice day for a walk here today in central Florida.

Just got back from our trip to Europe...time to listen to 4 of the tracks I heard on the new Avante-garde speakers (these had dual woofers and a large mid horn with a HF horn below it, and 2 large woofers below that) They sounded great, so I am listening to them on my setup now.

The last couple of day's recording sessions. The top deck is used to record to normal bias tape using Dolby C. These tapes are intended for use outside my home like my walkmans and my cassette deck at the trailer.

The bottom deck is used to record onto chrome tapes using dbx. These tapes stay at home and are played on my decks at home.
