What is your music and/or media server?

This setup means Convolution will be used for my two-channel listening, and I will not have to rely on Dirac Live, that is assuming Convolution ends up being as good or better than Dirac. This will enable me to use the analog inputs on the processor to compare various DACs.

And... with Dirac off, the sample rate is not limited to 48kHz.

That is certainly a nice unit, but expensive too, and it's really just an optimized computer like all the other ones.

You have peaked my interest with this kingdel mini pc.
I have been looking for a mini pc form factor that I can leave running 24x7.
Primarily I would be running blue iris for my security cams....

That should work for you. I ended up choosing an Intel NUC with a fan, but only after deciding that it will be located in my network closet in a another room, and the Intel has Thunderbird 3. However, I don't think Roon ROCK will support Thunderbird, so that might not matter for now..

This is the NUC kit I ended up with... purchasing everything from Amazon... $639 total cost. Took about an hour to get Roon ROCK setup. Had to update Bios, do this and that with to get ROCK installed and running. Copied over my music folders to the Samsung T7 and pointed Roon to the Core, it analyzed the music and I'm back up and running with my new NUC ROCK Core on the network. Laptop is now freed up and is only used as the remote controller.
