What TV series are you watching now?

E1 & E2 of season 4 of Star Trek Discovery.

I just started watching Queen Latifa last night... The Equalizer. I'm not much of a Latifa fan, and she doesn't really fit the part, but it's been interesting through the first three episodes. I'm not sure if I can stay interested for four seasons, but maybe. For me... not to come off as anti-feminist, but this just seems better suited for a male who knows kung fu. Her fight scenes have to be cut and chopped to a point where you don't really get to see a lot of action in her fighting. I like Chris Noth, although his part is limited.

I take it all back... she is great at this part, and the fit is working, despite the fight scene issues, which still have a sense of cool factor at times. This show really has grown on me, as has Queen as an actress, at least for this character (not her music).

:4.5stars:

La Palma limited series about a tsunami. Great one!!

Finishing up our rewatch of Severance S1 tonight to prep for S2 this weekend!

Just finished Shogun and House of Dragons S2, also wanting to start Dune Prophecy.

All good shows!
It was disappointing that Dune Prophecy had only 6 episodes in the season and at least a 2 year wait for season 2. Had I known beforehand, I might have skipped it for now.

Watched 3 more episodes on Star Trek Discovery, S4. I'm going to finish the series tonight.

Wrapped up Season 2 of Silo. As good as or maybe a little better than Season 1, with the season 2 finale garnering an 8.9 over on IMDB. Well worth the watch. Rebecca Ferguson, Common and Tim Robbins lead a solid cast.
Now renewed for seasons 3 and 4 with season 4 reported to be the final season.
The wait for more begins…

I finished off season 4 of Star Trek Discovery. The loss of my wife 4.5 years ago still affects me as I choked up and shed some tears on this one.

Was out sick yesterday and binged Dune Prophecy. Enjoyed it. It was actually easier for me to remain engaged over 6x 1hr episodes than it has been to watch the two movies.

I watched The Hunting Party on Peacock last night... looks like it could be a good one.

Wrapped up 12 Monkeys today. A thrilling ride all the way through to an equally great ending!
Thanks @Michael Scott for the recommendation! I can see how it made your top 5 sci-fi shows.

I watched it on blueray and found the video and audio quality both were very good. There’s a link in Michael Scott’s post if you’d like to check it out. Post 183. It’s still just $33.

I also just spotted that Amazon Prime Video now has it and the seasons are on sale for $5 each, although I definitely imagine the blueray would be well worth it.

This looks like one of those you have to buy or rent, regardless. You need a subscription to a service, then you have to pay again. :rolleyesno:

With Amazon I don’t think you need a subscription to buy digital media and play it again. Just an Amazon account.

Blueray is going to be better anyway.

Is it available on Kaleidescape for you?

I already pay annually for Amazon Prime. K-scape is 33 bucks per season. All seasons on Blu-ray for 33 sounds like the best purchase.

Just started watching The Night Agent. So far so good.

I'm up E4 of S2 of "The Night Agent"
