RTA function and MMM are the best way to measure response to EQ IMO. Only one measurement discouraged me a lot ( a little OCD am I?) but also didn't get good results.
@gtimbers , but I would appreciate help on where to place the house curve, at what level to get the filters for a 6.5dB curve. Should I lower the target to the response curve or leave it at the level chosen by REW? FR is psycho smoothed in the image here.

...hello...somebody?

I am not an expert on using EQ, but I would do the house curve at 72dB . For good sound, it is better to lower the peaks than raise the pits.

The classic Bruel and Kjaer curve has the waypoints- 0dB@30H +3dB@100Hz 0dB@2Khz -3dB@10Khz Subsequent work by Harman and Sonarworks etc. have shown little to no change.
