This week AV NIRVANA is proud to present a true double-double of amazing 4K UHD Blu-ray goodness, presenting not one…but TWO… chances to win a prize pack featuring brand new copies of this month’s red-hot Braveheart and Gladiator 4K Blu-ray releases.

Yes, that’s right: two lucky AV NIRVANA members will win 4K copies of two classic Academy Award winning flicks, compliments of our great friends at Paramount! And in case you’re wondering, these 4K releases live up to the re-release hype. Just click on the movie titles (above) for instant access to Michael Scott’s recent in-depth reviews!

So, how to win? First, you need to be a member of AV NIRVANA. Luckily, joining is super easy (including using you Facebook login). And for those of you that are new – please stick around and become a part of our growing community! We’re always looking for new AV fanatics, and being active has big benefits!

Second, leave a comment below and (if the spirit moves you) tell us which film you’re more excited about! If you feel like you need some reasons to bulk-up your comment, just read Michael’s reviews for details about the releases’ stellar audio and video encodes!

As always, any member with 100 posts will have TWO automatic entries, while any member with 1,000 posts will receive THREE automatic entries! It’s our way of thanking those that have made AV NIRVANA their home!

Here’s the fine print:
  1. All entrants must be AV NIRVANA members (100% free and easy to join, including Facebook login) and live within the Continental United States (per Paramount’s shipping requirements).
  2. All previous Giveaway winners are free to enter.
  3. The contest runs from May 14, 2018 through May 25, 2018 (9:00AM EST).
  4. Two winners will be selected at random and announced in this thread.
  5. Any member with 100 posts will have TWO automatic entries, while any member with 1,000 posts will receive THREE automatic entries!
  6. Winners will have one week to respond to winner's notification. If AV NIRVANA does not receive a response, the drawing will be run again.
  7. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

I'd have to go with brave heart. Mel might be a little crazy in his personal life, but when it comes to acting and directing the guy is top notch.
 
I don't think I've ever actually seen Braveheart straight through! Which is a bloody shame with some pale scottish blood in my veins!

Now this is a giveaway I can get behind! I guess I’ll be holding off on buying these just in case. As far as which I’m more excited to watch I’d have to say Gladiator story wise. Although Braveheart seemed to get more A/V adulation so just as excited for it. Flip a coin I guess? Great giveaway and thanks for the opportunity.
 
WOW another amazing giveaway. Both are excellent movies! This will make me want to pursue 4K gear much sooner then later :)

I'd love to see either of these, but since I've had DVD and Blu-ray versions of Braveheart before, I'm most looking forward to seeing the improvements made on the 4K/UHD version.

Oh, plus winning these would give me an excuse to finally upgrade to 4K. ;)

WOW, this is some give away.

I had already read Michael's reports and considering buying both but...
maybe now I won't need to :jump:

If I don't win (which seems unlikely) my first purchase of the two will be Braveheart :)

I just noticed that I have 99 post on AV NIRVANA and the rules for this Give Away states with 100 posts I get TWO automatic entries.

OK Todd?? Does this do it??????? I re-entered making this my 100th post. Will this sinch it for me for two entries?
