(January 23, 2021) Hello there AV NIRVANA! Our Michael Scott has cooked-up a fun Flash Giveaway contest to help kick off a brand new year! Beginning today (through February 8, 2021), you can enter to win one of TWO copies of Paramount's 65th Anniversary Blu-ray Edition of Danny Kaye's classic film The Court Jester! Yes, that's right, this contest will have TWO big winners, each receiving a new copy direct from our great friends at Paramount.
Originally shot in Paramount's VistaVision widescreen format, experts have scanned the original negative at 6K with a technique to address color fading. The resulting limited edition release is a Blu-ray disc wrapped in packaging that includes a foldout of the film's poster and images from the movie. All-in-all this has all the makings of a must-own release, bolstered by Scott's sneak-peek stamp of approval, proclaiming "it looks fantastic... it's going to be a doozy!" Stay tuned for his official review!
