xtz microphone

i have a xtz microphone with an integrated soundcard in the unit , in my output i plugged my xlr to rca in my arcam receiver in input analogue , the input of the soundcard is the xtz microphone , when i try to get sound check i get nothing coming out of my 2 stereo speakers , am i missing a step here ???

Any chance you can share a link to the model?

If it has a soundcard for sound output as well, I would maybe try to use it as a sound card for music first. First get the laptop to play sound through the arcam without REW. Then worry about REW. That helps isolate the issues. Right now you have a lot of possible variables to sort through.

I don’t see where the OP mentioned a laptop. It sounds like he’s trying to plug this rig directly into his AVR. So I’m not sure what he’s trying to accomplish. Except maybe to get his voice into his system.
