Youtube locking people out with Adblockers

Yeah, we shall see how this goes. it is all about the money and they are trying to get every penny!
 
They have to make $$... advertising is the only way to do it. I think viewers will kill the ad blockers to keep consuming content. YouTube is too big to ignore
 
Plus you can pay YouTube a subscription fee to eliminate ads...

I'm not so sure about that one. Youtube has been on shakey ground for a while now, and after watching the community's reactions online and how the adblockers are responding, I think it will be much more akin to the olden days of "sailing the high seas" if you know what I mean. A game of cat and mouse that goes back and forth. Several of the Adblockers have already figured out a way around YT's detection algorithm and YT has pulled back for the time being (most likely to figure a way around the adblockers way around their initial blocks), but I'm now genuinely curious how it's going to play out.
