Watched it and gave it a try. Won't be able to upload and listen to the results until tomorrow, but I have seen many people comment on YT that they are blown away by the results.

How’d you get on?

Works very well, had to correct my subwoofer back to 120 lpf as it was set to 250 using the audyssey one program. Only able to use one room curve for now as well. Overall it definitely makes the entire system sound MUCH better than stock!

Said it in another thread, Ill say it again..
"This is a another one of those once in a while game changers! Completely amazed by its creation and so happy I'm aware of it."

Is this only for the MultiQ-X app?? I saw the video, but he always speaks so fast

No, this is used in conjunction with the Audyssey MultiEQ editor app found in the appropriate app store for the phone you use. Its a 20 dollar app.

Download the link in the description of the video and follow the instructions.
It will look like this

The other downloadable file are demos

Thanks for that, yes, I already have the App, I will have another look at it :T

System sounds better than it ever has. Not necessarily night and day like some other people reported but definitely seems like I'm hearing better clarity at certain frequencies and improved integration. I've tried all 3 versions (1.0, 1.1, and 1.2) this past week as he has been making incremental improvements. I have not had time (or quiet enough conditions in the house) to take any REW measurements so I can compare theory to actuals and my old results.

Give it a try, it is easy and if you don't like it you can easily go back to what you had before.

Brilliant!

I guess I am one of the only one that did not like the results as much.. It made my speakers sound shrill, the high frequency too hot. I will give another try with the latest version

Do you have to download an App? I'm still confused if this Audissey One is something that you have to download

Youtube screenshot, Click on highlighted link and it will open a page full of text that looks like the second screenshot

The second screenshot, hit the download button and that it will save a Html page that will open the Audyssey One page that I screen shotted earlier in this thread
There is no stand alone "App" per say just a web page that runs in conjunction with Rew after following the prompts from Audyssey One

You have to download a script that he provides in the video description. The script runs on any web browser, chrome, Firefox. opera. But you do need to have the Audyssey phone app which is $20 dollars from the apple store or the google play store. everything is very easy to do.

So I ran the script again with the latest version this time and am finally getting much better results. I did end up choosing the audyssey flat profile over the reference one and in tone control had to lower the treble -3db. Now it sounds really good. The bass is incredible more powerful and much more involving.. I use the Dolby upmixer to listen my two channel music and the whole system just sound much more cohesive and involving, I now its cliche but its like the speakers disappeared and all you get is sounds from everywhere.
Next I will try taking measurement from REW and Umik 1 and run the script with those measurements to see if there is an improvement

To apply the filters and settings from the script of Audyssey One we need to use the Reference profile. Flat profile will not include them.

Hahaha...so that means I have listening to a placebo effect? But it does sounds just like it did when using reference except for the tamer high frequency....so am not sure. I think I read on AVS forum that you could make changes to audyssey like DEQ and others after the .ady is transfered to the AVR and that it should not affect the the Audyssey One.

Can someone put measurements with REW to see what Audyssey ONE does?

It may have been.

I also had to reduce tone control for treble in my system as everything above 200hz from A-1 was a little hotter so just adjusted to follow the Toole Curve and then listen. Nothing wrong with using the Tone controls for personal house curve since its just a simple shelf filter to allow us to add or reduce a tilt to the response.

Just out of personal curiosity been editing the script to adjust the frequency limit of corrections above 200hz and to also allow it to add small gains as well not just cuts. I still recommend using the original script as is and not mess with it unless a person wants to. I wanted to hear/see what it would do for 300, 400 and 500hz limits in my room.

In REW measuring the post A-1 actual room response is fairly close to what "Final" graphs are when finishing the script. Then I just run sweeps with A-1 off vs on and see what the end result is for frequency response, impulse, waterfall etc. It is really impressive that someone took their time and provided us with such a great tool to get more out of our receivers. :)

I've tried to use this today, they say it only takes 5 minutes, well, I've been at it for 2 hours and still no luck, everytime I try to upload it gives me a fetching error, and that's it, I exported the .ady file from a calibration, from a Samsung tablet to the Google drive, then downloaded it to a Mac laptop, followed everything many times, but still I get errors, not sure what I'm doing wrong

Can you double check u started the API server in REW. Once this has started then REW can communicate with the web browser you use and carry out the script.

REW Beta>Preferences>API>Start Server>Run script after all your measurements are loaded into REW if not already in there..

Hope this helps.

Chris

Also reminder for those of you with Microphone (UMIK-1 etc) Cal files in REW to remove them prior to running the script as the necessary calibration files for the Audyssey Mic are embedded in the the Audyssey One script for REW to use accurately.
