Big upset in college football.

Illinois 24, No. 6 Wisconsin 23.

First time since 2007 that the University of Illinois beat a top ranked team and Wisconsin entered Saturday as a 30-point favorite!

Can't believe Bama doesn't play until 9pm (8pm our time).

SEC Network and DVRs. What a great time we live in.
I will very likely need to avail myself of one or the other option. Sunday will be a better day for it. So there's that.

Well it really hasn't been that interesting to watch in the first half. I don't see how we do as well as we do with all the mistakes we constantly make.

And seriously... we can get the best of quarterbacks, the best of receivers, the best of running backs... but we have absolutely ZERO clue of how to get just a "good" kicker. I don't understand... makes no sense. This is year after year after year. We haven't had a good kicker since the days of Van Tiffin back in the 80's. How sad.

Looks like Tua has injured his ankle again.

Number 15 Texas beat Kansas in a close one, final score 50 to 48.

That was indeed a close game. Texas still has some defensive issues.

Tua is out for at least this next game... then Bama has a week off. Hopefully he'll be back for LSU, cause we will need him if we have any hope of pulling that one off and possibly outscore them. If our defense doesn't make some improvements, we won't get past Arkansas next week, especially not with a badly crippled offense.

I don’t think the Razorbacks will be a huge challenge but the way LSU is playing they will be, even with a healthy Tua. I’m with you. Let’s hope he’s back quickly and near full strength for that one.

Wow... 5 SEC teams in the top 10. And Clemson just keeps getting shoved down. I honestly think this is by design... suspecting if Bama is fortunate enough to win out, they will pair them with Clemson in the first round to keep them from potentially having a rematch in the championship game. Probably a good idea for the sake of most football fans tired of seeing them play in the final game. The only issue I see with that is I'm not sure Bama can win out... as LSU and Auburn will score some points on us for sure with our weak defense.

Hated to see Jalen and the Sooners struggle today... but Kansas sure had them figured out.

No surprises otherwise... other than maybe Michigan putting it on Notre Dame early on.

Auburn played LSU really well... just came up a little short.

Jones did really well for Bama, although they were playing the worst team yet this year... and our defense is still struggling. I like that we have a lot of young guys starting, but we are going to have a rough day when the bayou Bengals come to T-Town.

I was surprised as well with Kansas. Thought Oklahoma would have won that one..

This weekend will likely be a playoff elimination round between Bama and LSU. I believe the Tigers are probably the better team this year... at least defensively. The two offenses are fairly close, and I don't know that we can stop their offense. I suppose it could turn out to be a high scoring game, although we really don't know how well our offense is against a good defense... and we aren't sure if Tua will play... and if he does if he will be 100%.

I’ll be looking forward to this game all week. A 1 vs 2 with tremendous history and with a lot riding on the outcome. Doesn’t get any better.
