LG's new HU810PW laser projector features 3 HDMI inputs, one is HDMI 2.1 and two HDMI 2.0b.

The HU810PW is equipped with a direct dual laser light source that eliminates the need for the less desirable RGB spinning wheel while delivering better color fidelity and color saturation. The long life and stable dual laser delivers peak luminance up to 2700 lumens for a true HDR cinema experience with full color volume and dynamic tonal range.

Also LG designed this new projector to be install friendly with it's WiSA wireless speaker capability, built in webOS 5.0 Smart streaming apps, Wi Fi and Ethernet ready, built-in ATSC OTA and QAM cable tuner, and it's integrated audio/speaker stereo system.

No guarantee, but I'm working with LG to bring this new projector into the USA with an all black body, model # AU810PB.

Here's our .pdf spec sheet with more info on this bleeding edge 4K HDR Laser projector.

What’s the MSRP gonna be on this Robert?

The price has not been set yet. I'll get back here when I'm permitted to post the price and more details.

Thanks Robert!!

I did not see where it has lens memory, which would be important for me, being there is 50/50 16:9 vs 2.xx:1.

Of course if it's north of $2K (likely so), it will be out of my league for a PJ.

I'll PM you.

Check out my latest updates on our LG HU810PW webpage as I'm keeping it updated with new information as it becomes available. No firm launch date at this time, but likely end of November.

Question... how safe is a laser projector if you have pets or kids...I am worried about them lookig at the laser. I have been debating on Ultra short throw or conventional Laser projectors.

Looking directly into a laser light can be dangerous to a pet or child.

LG's HU85LA UST projector has the closest throw distance at just 7.2" to fill a 120" screen and the light source is located near the backside of the projector that is closest to the wall so it's very unlikely for a child to be able to get to the laser light beam.

Looks like I will have to go with a bulb again. Our cat qas on top of my speaker the other night looking at the tv, nose almost touching it...speaker is 4' tall too.

@GForce, welcome to AV NIRVANA!

LG's HU810PW does not support VRR. I asked LG's product manager and top engineers to upgrade the HU810PW with VRR. It does support ALLM and eARC. The HDMI 2.1 input will have at least 40Gbps and possibly 48Gbps. I'll test the HDMI 2.1 speed when we get our loaner unit.

Thanks. from what I can tell VRR would be the icing on the cake.

Looking for a real HDMI 2.1 projector for all things like movie and new consoles, already have Devon 11.1 channel receiver on order with full 2.1 support.

Next question is when will it come to Australia?
And there is no other project yet with HDMI 2.1 is there?

Sorry but in the USA manufacturers do not tell us about products outside of the US.

LG's first HU810PW is in-transit to me. I'll set-up the HU810PW in my professional store demo theater for evaluation.

Thank you JDubya518. I expect our HU810PW to arrive by the end of next week.

LG's very first HU810PW 4K HDR with HDMI 2.1 just arrived! Unboxing and set-up in our store demo theater with our first impressions is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

Very excited to see how well this handles gaming as a low millisecond response time is important to me. Hoping you can start selling this soon and good luck in your testing!
