NFL 2017 Season

It looks as though the rookie QB class is off to a good start. Trubisky, Kizer, and Watson have seemingly all had good debuts. Many people have touted next years class as being better but maybe the current crop will exceed expectations? I'm really looking forward to seeing how Mahomes performs tonight for the Chiefs.

Wow... Cowboys lose their running back for 6 games!

:explode:Yep, that's a HUGE blow! E.E. is a beast and provided Dak a nice security blanket by keeping defenses honest. I've been following his career for quite some time. He chose Ohio State over Mizzou and grew up here! :explode:

Patrick Mahomes more than lived up to the hype last night in his NFL rookie debut. Although the Chiefs lost the real story was just how calm and cool he looked. He made some incredible throws that showcased why he was the second QB drafted. Good things to come...

I sense T.J. Watt is going to be following in his brother's footsteps.

T.J. Watt ended the game with five tackles, two sacks and a batted pass

The Chiefs and Bengals play tonight at 6 and really looking forward to seeing Patrick Mahomes again. It's hard to believe we hadn't invested a first round pick on the QB position in over 30 plus years! It's no wonder we haven't been to a SuperBowl recently. I know it's early but the kids been impressive according to Andy Reid.

How do you guys watch the NFL? Streaming or cable? I cut the cable due to cost, and I am now testing Sling TV with the NFL Network. The picture quality is excellent, but the voice goes out of sync a lot. Pretty annoying.

We have Google. Honestly, I've considered doing the same but I can't give up my sports.

I know it is still pre-season but good to see the Texans beat the Patriots! lol..

Tom Savage is so far handling his own as QB..

Regular season we shall see how things go.

Good news if you have Amazon Prime.

from nfl

I am not surprised by this news. Maybe it is time for him to retire?

from chron,

"ESPN reported Wednesday that Osweiler isn't expected to play in Cleveland's third preseason game and the Browns are now attempting to trade the sixth-year quarterback."

Chiefs and Seahawks tonight and I can't wait. I'm very interested to see how Patrick Mahomes fares against a stout Seahawks defense. It's still pre-season but this third game is the most regular season simulation we'll get until the actual season begins. No injuries, no injuries, and please no injuries!

Here is the schedule of Amazon’s Thursday Night Football games:

September 28 — Green Bay vs. Chicago
October 5 — New England vs. Tampa Bay
October 12 — Philadelphia vs. Carolina
October 19 — Kansas City vs. Oakland
October 26 — Miami vs. Baltimore
November 9 — Seattle vs. Arizona
November 16 — Tennessee vs. Pittsburgh
November 30 — Washington vs. Dallas
December 7 — New Orleans vs. Atlanta
December 14 — Denver vs. Indianapolis
December 25 — Pittsburgh vs. Houston

Phillihp are you ready for some football? :jump:

Talk about penalties both sides that game......but my Seahawks pulled off another preseason win.

Where's the dislike button? Yes, it was almost hard to watch at times. Seahawks look good though.

The Chiefs had some good defense, tight coverage. They were making Seattle work for it, they didn't just roll over. Offside penalties and the like really hurt the Chiefs, certainly didn't help their momentum.

True, and also the dropped balls which is very unlike the receivers. The penalties were just a killer on both teams and the flow of the game.

Looks like Julian Edelman suffered a complete tear of the ACL
