What is the opinion on apple charging devices

I get the impression from reading different articles there is some belief that non-apple charging devices may harm your device... If they are certified to the same standard why would it be an issue?

I wouldn't worry about it personally.

Are you using a case on the watch. A friend recommended Spigen, he uses the rugged armor for daily wear.

The tough thing is figuring out if they are getting commission by advertising them. It's best if you know someone who has the product and can tell you straight up how it is. That's how I found out about the Spigen case...a coworker uses it, so I was able to see how it fits on the watch, looks on the watch, and ask questions about it.

For reference these are my current watches.
$300 Seiko and $10 Casio (workplace watch). I think I have gone through 3 of the Casio in 14 yrs. if the band breaks, battery dies or I damage the face I just run to walmart and pickup another one off the shelf.

Nice watches. The funny thing, when I go abroad and don't want to worry about my watch, I take the cheapest watch I can find and use that for my travels.

I Pre-ordered my Apple Watch 3 GPS/Wireless from my carrier. The projected ship date is 11/03/17.
They appear to be in short supply and or high demand.
I can't image there will be more than a minor few available in stores on release day, this Friday 09/22/17.
As the IPhone X release date is 11/02/17 the wait isn't a big deal. I just wonder how backed up the IPhone X release will be....Feb??

I’m guessing the iPhone X will be hard to come by for quite some time. As for the gen 3 watch I’ll bet you can find one in a store that first week.

I just checked iStockNow and the series 3 watch is readily available. The site shows inventory throughout the US in real-time and is pretty handy when trying to track down high demand Apple products. You might want to take a look.

The Apple Watch is incredibly useful for those that maximize its capabilities. My favorite is paying without pulling out my wallet. My next favorite is the fitness tracking. I walk/run up to 60 miles a week. I’m sure that sounds crazy to most but most of my hobbies are.
