What are you listening to right now?

I watched a Netflix special on CCR Saturday night which was narrated by Jeff Bridges. One tidbit I didn't know about CCR is the year after the Beatles broke up, CCR was considered to be the biggest band at that time.
Based on this, here's my listening session.

Spent many an hour listening to CCR with my Dad. Cosmos Factory was his favorite. I would have been 11 when it was released. Those were good times!

Yesterday's listening sessions.

Love this while peddling on the stationary bike. Its also a great source for looking up new artists.

;) Couldn't resist!

Now my turn to add to the mix...
I'm always surprised by the number of great tunes from this singer/songwriter:

Love his lyrics that paint some vivid pictures with the storytelling.

There's likely many of us that can't hear this ...

Or perhaps co-Star Rebecca De Mornay?

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!

Good morning my friends
:)
I hope you had a great weekend filled with friends, family, and laughter. I had a good time with my daughter and her family over the weekend. This was this morning's listening session around 1am my time.

That picture of Keith Richards is hilarious!

The jokes about his age/appearance are never-ending fun.

Keith does look a little rough... I hope to look that good when I reach 78... :justdontknow:

That's a band I've never heard of... have been giving them a listen today. Sounds very 70s-ish?

Some bits of Ten Years After tid…
Ten Years After was a big hit at Woodstock.
The lead guitarist, Alvin Lee, was extremely talented. In the 70s his name was oft mentioned in the same sentence with a couple of Jimmys.
There’s some great blues guitar found on Ten Years After Live. If you get a chance, check it out.
This number from YouTube showcases Alvin’s familiarity with the instrument, some of which is pretty ridiculous…
Alvin Lee sadly passed away in 2013.
Joe Bonamassa is a fan. Here‘s Joe paying tribute by playing at the Royal Albert Hall using Alvin’s guitar.
