NFL 2017 Season

Monday Night Football -- Lions beat the Giants 24-10.. Lions dominated this game..

Giants apparently have no offensive line... which stinks because Beckham is supposed to be one of the studs on my fantasy team!

Thursday Night Football, The Los Angeles Rams held off the San Francisco 49ers, 41-39

Texans play Patriots at Gillette stadium this Sunday.. I just hope it is a close game.. lol.

The Chiefs and Falcons have provided the blueprint. Good luck!

lol. With the Texans, blueprint or not, it will be tough..

Yep, all we did is upset Mr. Brady and company. I suspect it will be ugly but hey that’s why they play the games. Nobody thought the Chiefs would do what they did. I must admit that also included me. Alex Smith looked good in training camp and pre-season but nobody expected him to don a cape against the Patriots.

As the saying goes.. "any given Sunday!" :)

Game day! Lets go CHIEFS!

Jeff... I need T. Hill to catch 3 touchdown passes today... :T

Texans had that game. HAD IT!

As a Texans fan, I am used to disappointment. Really. :)

And my official ban of NFL began today. Clearly the NFL didn’t get the message last season that sports fans aren’t interested in politics and personal agendas. After declining viewership and attendance, and any team willing to take on a player with a personal agenda one had thought things would go back to just sports this season. Instead it appears that it’s double down time. Apparently it’s the trendy thing to do these days. Of recent there is an increasing influx of CEO’s and other business leaders that feel its exceptable to take a business based on a product or service and start using its consumer membership as an audience to spew personal agenda.

I do not watch NBA so that boycott is easy enough for me.

Next up, MLB. Will the MLB now tolerate the same behavior? I will be watching closely...and they shall follow the same suite. Maxwell of the Oakland A’s kneeled in protest.

One thing that was stated is that sports are meant to unify. I agree with this statement, when sports stick to sports and stay out of politics and religion.

This article is on par with my sentiment on this issue: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017...-commissioner-roger-goodell-shame-on-all.html

In regards to the Texans, In just his second start, rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson was impressive even thou the team lost. If any consolation, the Texans were 14-point underdogs, and had a chance to beat the defending Super Bowl champions.

What happened to the super duper Raiders? I have a lot of family members who like the Raiders, and I was so happy when they lost again the Redskins! I didn't have to say anything them. All I had to do was look at them, and they knew why I was laughing lol. Then they would come back and talk trash about the 49er's, but I know 49er's are going to suck for the next 4 years.

On Monday Night Football, the Dallas cowboys beat the Arizona Cardinals 28 to 17..

The link above goes to the main page of espn.. Is there a link for the direct posting on espn for Watson?

Not sure why it linked the main page but he donated his first game check to three Texans cafeteria workers affected by the flood. Acts like that are pure class.

I’m going to add that I don’t care what team Deshaun Watson plays for that’s a guy I’ll be cheering for. A simple gesture like that can change those peoples lives for the better. In the grand scheme of things that wasn’t much money to Watson but good on him. Maybe that causes another random act of kindness. Pay it forward...
