Movie Roll Call: What have you seen lately?

Never heard of "Puerto Ricans in Paris".. Checked out the trailer and it looks interesting.

Let me know how it goes. If good, will add to my watchlist.

I thought it was really funny. Nothing new that hasn't already been done but funny and definitely a fun watch. I recommend it.

I watched "Running Man" on tv last night. Wow! have movies progressed. And by the way this movie takes place in the future of 2017 LOL! When the guns fire its like digital sounds. When explosions occur they are literally a good few seconds sound wise later than on the screen.

I know back then when you thought of 2017 in our mind that was ages away but here we are now.

Saw The Devils Candy last night. Boy the movie was really good but it stays with you. I most likely won't see it again. There is so much evil in this world already no point seeing it on screen.

Just finished The Devils Candy and thought it was good. You can catch it on Netflix. If you enjoy Rob Zombie flicks you'll enjoy this one. It wasn't directed by him but along the same lines.

Saw a movie called "Charly". It was recommended by a friend. It was made in 1968. Overall, a movie worth watching. Story is similar to the other movie I saw "Lucy".

We've started watching Ozark which is a Netflix original series. Completely captivated by it so far. I've always been a fan of Jason Bateman and so far he's been spectacular in his role. Recommended......

Watched a movie called Timecrimes. It's really good and plays with your mind. Time travel movies can be confusing at times. It's on Shudder.

Watched a Romanian film called ILS aka Them. It is based on true events about some young hoodlums that go around stalking the couple in their home. It was suspenseful indeed and I recommend it.

I just saw the trailer to the 2017 Leatherface and it looks good but the movie might end up being a disaster. Apparently he escapes from a mental hospital and they made it seem like he has super powers like Jason Voorhees . Now I like Jason and for Jason that works out well but with Leatherface I am just not sure. It seems like they overdid this one based on the trailer. We will see!

True Confessions on Blu-ray. Starring Robert Deniro as a priest and Robert Duvall as a detective. I had previously owned a version on dvd ripped from a VHS. Was a decent transfer to blu-ray considering it is a 1981 film.

Saw Annabelle again last night. Can't wait for the new one to come out.

Been watching the "Hinterland' series on Netflix. An interesting detective crime solving series, with even more complex crime plots and motives.

The Fate of the Furious was really good I thought.

We saw The Intern and found it to be very entertaining. Robert De Niro is a great actor.

I have to add that movie, The Intern, to my watch list.. Mostly due to Anne Hathaway.
