We watched that a week or two ago, and I agree. Par for the course on Sofia Coppola films. They’re never bad, they’re just...there.

Started watching the new Hulu series: Hardy Boys

I still have yet to watch Gemini Man...

We watched the new Mulan last night. If you’re a fan of the animated version I’d advise you to go into it with an open mind. I think this movie got like 5.5/10 stars on IMDB and I would think that’s due to it not being the animated movie. I’d give it a solid 7/10.

A bit on the fence with Gemini Man. I thought it was a pretty good popcorn action film with a very mediocre plot line. Still undecided on how I feel about the tech that created a young Will Smith.

Watched Midway today. ATMOS on this movie is awesome!

Roma - I was a bit surprised that I enjoyed this movie about the doldrums of everyday life as a maid in 1970ish Mexico. Normally I despise subtitles but not for this one. I am also not normally a fan of black and white films but I could see no other way for this film to be shot. You would think with it being done black and white that it would lack a bit when it comes to cinematography but this was not the case. Excellent use of HDR!

Watched Tennet and The Tax Collector.
I wasn’t a big fan of Tennet. Never have really cared for films that jump back and forth through time in the storyline.

The Tax Collector I really enjoyed. A brutal action flick. Fun watch.

Watched Season 1 of Lime Town on Peacock. Really enjoyed it. It’s a tense thriller. Look forward to season 2.
