I followed Eddie and the cruisers up with the sequel which I enjoyed more than the first movie.

Watched "The Other Guys" and "Blair Witch Project"
The Other Guys is horrendous... you can actually see quite a few of Will Ferrils' characters (Elf and Daddy's Home) in this film. But, all in all, it's just poorly executed.
BWP is a win for me. I know @Michael Scott thinks its an abomination... but I think its held up well. Cost $60K to make, made over $247M world wide. Not a bad investment!

Way back, I went to Blair Witch Project the opening weekend and actually fell asleep close to the end... Not one, but 3/4 and done...

yeah, it was very bland and boring for a Hugh Jackman movie. Had potential, but very forgettable

it's cheesy but I liked it. nerd moment. the guy who plays Breckenridge is neil affleck, the director of the original My Bloody Valentine and the 1980s version of Scanners

Must be a different Battleship than the one I’m thinking of from 10 years ago or so. That movie was not good.
I don’t know where you find the time to watch all these movies. I’m retired and I’m lucky if I get one watched per week. Kudos to you!!
I have always been a fan of action and effects...hence me enjoying Battleship in 4k.
I have been retired since 2010 and when we had out HT, I would log up 2000 hours per year on our projector. In December 2021 we purchased our 86" FP and it currently has 9700 hours on it. I watch tv from the time we get up until I seriously listen to music in the evening for a hour or two. We go out for errands, occasional dinner parties and dancing...otherwise we are usually home and the TV or stereo is playing.

Just watched "Philadelphia"...excellent, but sad movie with Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks.
This morning I started the day out with "12 Angry Men" an excellent classic court room drama.

Watched Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre last night. Had fairly low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Well worth a rental.
